Pressure-Sensitive Labels
Pressure-sensitive labels stick to virtually any product and are produced from paper, film and foil and a variety of inks. These high-tech, sleek, and stylish stick-on labels come on rolls and require moderate pressure to apply. Since they require no heat, solvent or water to adhere to packages, they’re one of the easiest labels to work with. We feature high-performance pressure-sensitive labels that can survive extremely hot and cold temperatures.
There are many factors to weigh between when choosing the correct material and adhesive combination for a pressure sensitive label. We feature over 50 types of a white plastic label material which each have various substrates and adhesives. Many factors need to be considered in order to determine what type of material you use, such as application temperatures, the environment they are applied in HOT-COLD, Dry-wet, clean-dusty, and the surface they applied to (i.e. HDPE, PET, PVC, glass, metal, paper).
Our print specialists will weigh all these elements as well as the product itself and how the label will have to function (i.e. squeezable, water-resistant factors, chemical-resistant) in order to create the perfect label for your product.
Roll-Fed Labels
Roll-fed labels are printed on unsupported paper or film, without any pre-applied adhesive. They come in roll forms, and they can be applied to the desired product using hot melt adhesive. They cover the full surface volume of the product, which leaves a lot of space for product information and branding.
Standard Wraparound
This is the most common form of roll-fed labels, because they wraparound the container, but don’t shrink. They’re best suited for straight wall cylindrical or square shaped products. We offer:
- Laminated OPP:
- PET films in clear
- Monolayer oriented polypropylene (OPP) films
- White or metallized
- Paper substrates.
The laminated options offer the highest levels of scruff resistance, gloss and stiffness properties, as well as recycling advantages
Roll-Fed Shrink
These wraparound shrink roll-fed options, or ROSO (roll on shrink on), feature various materials including PVC, PETG and polyolefin films with shrink percentages typically ranging from 3 – 20%. In addition to the standard roll-fed process, these labels go through a heat tunnel to shrink and conform them to the container, making them ideal for shaped and tapered plastic containers and aerosol cans.
